Noose of Laurels is the pseudonym of Philadelphia-based musician Jeffrey Bumiller (b. 1980). An active musician, he plays in several groups - Northern Valentine, Lunch With Beardo, Doctor Scientist, Black Roller Crop Rotation, runs Drone Therapy Records and somehow manages to produce solo work under Noose of Laurels. His work utilizes heavily processed field recordings, in addition to guitar and new-found love, the tibetan singing bowl, and blends them all together into swirling masses of sound that are beautiful and severe at the same time.
